Mohamed Salah Liverpool transfer hint dropped
Mohamed Salah was the subject of a verbal £150m from Al-Ittihad in the summer, with interest from the Saudi Pro League expected to rear its head again next year. “Did it give him a boost or whatever?” Klopp joked at the mention of Al-Ittihad’s bid. “An offer came in, you said? And then what happened?” “It was rejected for football reasons.”
“Oh, yeah? I don’t know anything about an offer or whatever,” Klopp said evasively. “But it is not important. Mo is here, Mo never came to me and wanted to go."
