Caoimhin Kelleher believes consistently playing in the Europa League for Liverpool will bolster his chances of becoming a first-choice goalkeeper.
Kelleher will make his fifth appearance of the season when he again deputises for Alisson Becker in the Europa League group clash at Toulouse here in France on Thursday evening.
The 24-year-old, who is also Liverpool's goalkeeper in the League Cup, has already matched his tally of outings for the whole of the previous campaign.

And with two more group games and a League Cup quarter-final at home to West Ham United to come before the end of the year, Kelleher is keen to make the most of his opportunities.
“It's really important for me in terms of building up that match sharpness and to get a good run of games is really important for me and my development," said the goalkeeper. "I just want to keep playing and do well to continue my development and continue that ambition to be a number one.
"Clearly I am still back-up at the moment but my ambition is to play as many games as I can, that's what I want to do. At the moment I am back-up but the ambition is to be a number one and in the games I'm getting I'm trying to make the most of that and play well.
“Of course I'm looking forward to the game tomorrow. I've had two games in this competition already so it's an opportunity for me to get some game time."
