Manchester United survived an FA Cup fourth-round scare at Newport County to progress through to the next round of the competition after beating the League Two side 4-2.
Erik ten Hag's side took a 2-0 lead in the first 13 minutes of the game thanks to Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo - who scored his first senior goal for the Premier League giants.
However, Bryn Morris' long-range effort and Will Evans' goals threw United off track - causing concern for the Dutch manager.
Thankfully for United, Antony and Rasmus Hojlund managed to claw it back for the Red Devils - winning the game 4-2.
Here, Mail Sport have rated both sets of players...
Made his Manchester United debut but not perhaps the performance he would have wanted. He was caught out by Morris' deflected strike in the 36th minute of the game.
Enjoyed a lot of success down the flank, played several crosses into the box and dug deep physically to help Manchester United emerge victorious.
Not Varane's best performance. He could have done more to prevent Newport's second goal of the game and lost a couple of 50/50 battles.
Good work rate, fueling many of Manchester United's attacks. Did well to provide Garnacho with the ball for his crossbar-hitting strike.
Excellent performance from Luke Shaw. Calm and collected when on the ball. Defensively solid and provided some killer balls into the box. But, as expected, lacked fitness.
Bagged his first Manchester United goal with a lovely finish in the 13th minute of the game. He continued to dictate play and cause problems for Newport.
Casemiro was handed in almost three months. He was a little rusty, which was to be expected. Nevertheless, he won some important aerial battles and played some penetrative passes.
