Newport County fans were in no mood to show sympathy to Marcus Rashford, who was a noticeable absentee for Manchester United's FA Cup tie on Sunday.
Rashford stayed in Manchester for the Red Devils' tie against the League Two side amid reports he was in a Belfast nightclub before reporting ill for a training session earlier this week.
Man United boss Erik ten Hag kept his cards close to his chest when asked about the 26-year-old forward being left behind.
There's not been any indication that Rashford will be disciplined with Man United saying he's currently recovering at their Carrington training ground.
But some Newport fans appear to have jumped to their own conclusions with a sign being held up to suggest that a fine may be on its way to Rashford.
The sign read: «Rashford can we have your week's wages?»
Rashford is understood to pocket £325,000 a week having signed a new contract last summer.
But the England forward has struggled to prove his worth this season with just four goals in 26 appearances.
Without Rashford, Man United were tested by the Welsh outfit, who came back from 2-0 down to level the Cup tie at Rodney Parade.
However, Man United just about got over the line as they retook the lead through Antony's first goal of the season before Rasmus Hojlund made it 4-2 in stoppage time.
A tie away to either Bristol City or Nottingham Forest will await Man United on Wednesday February 28.
