UFC legend Conor McGregor has responded to a challenge from new champion Ilia Topuria.
Topuria won the world title that McGregor once held at UFC 298, knocking out Alex Volkanovski. Just moments after UFC boss Dana White wrapped the featherweight world title around his waist after his win, Topuria called out McGregor, saying: "Conor McGregor if you still have some balls, I will be waiting for you in Spain."
Topuria also said he would be willing to move up in weight to fight McGregor, adding: "Who said that I want to fight him at 145? There is no weight if I fight him, he can choose it. I will give him that option, if he feels he is ready for this level of competition then he can choose the weight. I can choose the place."

McGregor, who had predicted Volkanovski to win the bout at UFC 298, replied to the comments on Instagram: "I have huge balls, I've four kids."
Mystic Mac is set to come back to the ring later this year to fight Michael Chandler, but we don't know when or where yet. Topuria, who used to fight at lightweight, has always wanted to fight McGregor: "Conor represents the last chapter in MMA so in order to go through that last chapter and leave him behind, that's why I want to fight him," he shared.
McGregor would be a great match for the UFC's first event in Spain, which might happen after Topuria won a world title. Dana White, the boss of UFC, thinks it could be at the Santiago Bernabeu, where Real Madrid plays.
