According to Sports Zone, Paris Saint-Germain defender Nordi Mukiele (26) has reached an agreement to join Bayern Munich. For now, PSG are blocking the move.
Mukiele has understandably found it difficult to get game time since arriving at the club from RB Leipzig. He has failed to displace Achraf Hakimi and through injury and strong competition in his position, the France international has seen his minutes severely limited this season.
As a result, he is not open to a departure from the Parc des Princes this January. The defender has already reached an agreement on personal terms with Bayern Munich with Mukiele keen on the move, however, he will not force the transfer through. He is happy at Paris, although he is aware that a move to Bavaria will afford him more playing opportunities.
PSG, for now, continue to block the transfer. Les Parisiens will only let Mukiele go if a replacement can be found. Players such as David Hancko, Kevin Danso, Jean-Clair Todibo and Lény Yoro are all targets for PSG, but neither of those options look like joining the Ligue 1 champions during the current transfer window. However, once PSG have their replacement, Mukiele’s move to Bayern Munich looks to be on the right path to reaching a positive conclusion.
