Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer disagree on what Liverpool should do in January over Mohamed Salah if another "ridiculous" bid is submitted for the Egyptian international.
The 31-year-old was subject to serious interest from AI-Ittihad in the summer window, as the Saudi Pro League made a £150 million verbal offer for the services of the three-time Premier League Golden Boot winner. Liverpool's stance was firm and the approach was dismissed.
Salah has consistently performed for the Reds since joining the club and is doing so once again this season as he has six goal contributions in five games.
However, Shearer suggested that Liverpool should cash in on Salah in January when discussing the player on the latest episode of The Rest Is Football podcast.

He said: "If they know they are coming back in, in January with a ridiculous offer, then they have time to find a replacement and again it depends where they are, I think. But £150m, I think they’d bite at £150m in January."
This view was quickly rejected by Micah Richards, who replied: "Don’t sell, nope, don’t sell.
"I think he’s got a couple more years at Liverpool and still would be able to demand £100m, £100m plus in even two seasons, I would say hold tight."
Richards' point of view was supported by former Barcelona striker Lineker, as he looked at the importance a prolific player can have on a team.
