The Reds fell behind to a Kasey McAteer goal scored on the counter-attack during the first half, though responded in style after the break through Cody Gakpo, Dominik Szoboszlai and Diogo Jota.
This match marked the fourth time alone this campaign Liverpool have responded to going a goal down by going on to secure a 3-1 victory. Up next for Jurgen Klopp's side in the Carabao Cup will be Bournemouth, which is set to be played the week commencing October 30.
