Chris Sutton believes Jurgen Klopp is taking football down a 'dangerous route' after he called for Liverpool's defeat with Tottenham to be replayed.
The German felt that a replay 'was the right thing to do' after Luis Diaz's goal was wrongly disallowed by the VAR.
Audio footage released shows VAR official Darren England saying the check was 'perfect' before swearing when he realises that the on-field decision was offside - when the Colombian was clearly on.
Chris Sutton previously told Mail Sport that Klopp's call for Liverpool's game against Tottenham to be replayed was 'utter tripe'.
Mail Sport's Ian Ladyman insisted he didn't agree with Klopp's belief, but said that he 'might be a little bit more respectful' to one of the game's most celebrated managers.
Sutton fired back: 'How would you describe it then? How would you describe a situation where we now want games replayed because of refereeing errors, human errors? That's what happen - where will this lead.
'Every week we'll have clubs calling for games to be replayed. It's absolute tripe. It's absolute nonsense.'
Sutton went on to say that Klopp's call for a replay is a 'dangerous route' to go down.
He said: 'To even go down that route, it's actually a dangerous route to go down. And, you know, it's interesting. I said this on the show on Monday, who is going to want to actually be a referee with that pressure on them, that scrutiny on them?
'I mean Darren England England must be feeling bad enough. How he comes back from this, I don't know.
'Jurgen Klopp shouldn't have gone down that route about playing a game again, because it's dangerous. It's where it leads.
'You can imagine weekly that managers from clubs saying we were wrong there. We need to play the game again.
