Liverpool missed the chance to move above Manchester City in the Premier League as they drew 2-2 with Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex on Sunday.
Jurgen Klopp's side found themselves a goal behind when Simon Adingra capitalised on some slack play from Virgil van Dijk and Alexis Mac Allister after 20 minutes. Liverpool, though, weren't behind for long as Mohamed Salah scored two goals in the final five minutes of the first half to turn the game on its head.
Summer signing Ryan Gravenberch had the chance to extend Liverpool's lead early in the second half but he could only smash Dominik Szoboszlai's cut-back onto the crossbar. That allowed Brighton to rescue a point in the final stages of the game when Lewis Dunk bundled home a free-kick 12 minutes from time.
