Doak delivers again
After handing Ben Doak his full Liverpool debut against LASK Linz last week, Jurgen Klopp made it clear what else he had wanted to see.
“If we could have used Ben Doak a little more often, give him the ball a little more, then we could have had more times on the touch line and pass the ball inside more often.”
Against the Austrians, the Scotland Under-21s international had the fewest touches of Liverpool’s starting XI. Sure, he showed glimpses of his talent but his impact was limited. Against Leicester City it was a very different story.

And less than a week after starting against LASK, it was clear that Liverpool had taken Klopp’s words on board.
