With James Maddison expertly finding the net after cutting in from the left flank, Son Heung-min then had an opportunity on goal in their next attack. Seeing the ball fall kindly into his path after Van de Ven got a touch to Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's pass, the South Korean looked a certainty to score from eight yards out but academy goalkeeper Luca Gunter produced a fine save.
