Ange Postecoglou could soon face the best kind of dilemma with his Tottenham Hotspur team selections as his star players continue to return to the fold.
Spurs managed to dominate Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday for much of the Premier League clash and deserved more than the point they took home that evening.
They impressed despite having 11 players unavailable including all of their attacking creative central midfielders, with a sickness in the camp during the week affecting five players which meant Dejan Kulusevski was ruled out and Postecoglou used three players in Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and debutant Timo Werner who had not played a match in weeks or months in two of their cases.
Yet the Postecoglou philosophy is clear in whichever side he selects and that only makes what comes next all the more exciting for Tottenham. That's because while the Spurs boss has in recent months had little choice with many of his team selections, he is set to have dilemmas across the pitch if his players can remain out of the treatment room.
In central defence new arrival Radu Dragusin will be offering competition for Romero and Van de Ven. In midfield the Australian will have to select just three from Rodrigo Bentancur, Yves Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr, James Maddison, Giovani Lo Celso, Oliver Skipp and Pierre Emile Hojbjerg.
Then in the front three, with a full squad he would have to decide in each game on the trio to start from Son Heung-min, Richarlison, Dejan Kulusevski, Werner, Brennan Johnson, Manor Solomon, Bryan Gil, Alejo Veliz and talented youngster Jamie Donley.
