Hull City star Jaden Philogene's jaw-dropping Rabona helped grab an equaliser against Rotherham — but he won't get the credit on paper.
With Hull staring at defeat against Rotherham in the Championship on Tuesday night, Philogene popped up with a piece of magic.
After beating Oliver Rathbone twice with some dazzling skills, from an incredibly narrow angle the former Aston Villa player tried an audacious Rabona.
And it worked out perfectly, drooping over Viktor Johansson in the Rotherham net to level the scores.
However, the goal was not credited to the zippy winger as it took a slight deflection off Cameron Humphreys' shoulder on its way in.
With the contact being enough to divert it towards goal, it saw Philogene's credit chalked off and was instead given as an own goal.
However, the 22-year-old's sizzling skills were enough to inspire the Tigers to go on and grab the winner just four minutes later when Noah Ohio netted on 75 minutes.
Christ Tiehi had given Rotherham a very early lead in the fourth minute with the Millers rock bottom of the Championship.
But that is where they will remain after losing at the New York Stadium late on while Hull have high hopes of reaching the play-offs this season.
The win took them into seventh with 48 points after 31 games but there is plenty of competition for places in the top six with three points separating sixth and 10th.
