A striker that is on a blazing run of form deserves to be paraded around in a fiery set of wheels, which seems to be the case for this DStv Premiership attacker. 

Tshegofatso Mabasa seems to have his shooting boots tied tightly to his feet since returning to the Soweto Giants following a loan spell at Moroka Swallows.

The 27-year-old put himself in the race for the competition's Golden Boot award after netting a hat-trick that helped his side thrash Golden Arrows 7-1 in their last PSL outing. It brought his goal tally for the season to 10. 

Mabasa also played the full 90 minutes as he was part of the Buccaneers side that saw off AmaZulu 4-2 to progress to the semi-final of the Nedbank Cup. He managed to register three goals in as many games during the knockout competition thus far. 

His form makes his slick set of wheels perhaps the ideal car to reflect his performances on the pitch.

The BMW X3 that is blessed with a driver who, we could assume, has immaculate clutch control that stems from his footballing abilities, could be viewed as a symbol of strength, power, speed, and efficiency which mirror the attributes that could take a striker from being good to becoming great. 

According to Auto Trader, the SUV and all that it comes with is worth over a staggering R800 000 which shows that putting in the hours does come with a satisfying reward.

The striker will be hoping to continue his rich vein of goal-scoring form when Amazulu visit the Orlando Stadium where third-placed Pirates will be looking to get another favourable result.
