Chelsea transfer news: The Blues have been linked with making a swap deal offer to Nottingham Forest for Brennan Johnson, in the hopes of making a move cheaper.
Following their failed attempt to sign Michael Olise from Crystal Palace, football.london understands Chelsea have held initial talks with Nottingham Forest to sign youngster Brennan Johnson. The East Midlands outfit currently value their academy graduate at £50million.
With that said, here's a look at a few players that may be able to make the switch to the City Ground, with Johnson moving the other way.
Marc Cucurella
Nottingham Forest are in the market for a left-back, having sounded out Arsenal for Nuno Tavares, though Cucurella could provide a better option to reduce the price for the deal involving Johnson.
Callum Hudson-Odoi
Nottingham Forest have been one of those, but they haven't made the switch, having pursued a move for Anthony Elanga from Manchester United. Hudson-Odoi could still be an option that would allow for a move to be completed that works for everyone involved.
Hakim Ziyech
