Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly lining up a free transfer for a Premier League defender this summer.
Spurs were one of the few busy Premier League clubs during the January transfer window. Ange Postecoglou had two new players added to his squad, with Timo Werner (loan from RB Leipzig) and Radu Dragusin arriving last month.
The duo will add much-needed depth to the Spurs squad for the second half of the season. In the other direction, Eric Dier called time on his time in North London with a permanent transfer to Bayern Munich.
Tottenham are now being linked with potentially signing a new centre-back. According to Italian news outlet Calciomercato, Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo is a player of interest to Spurs in the final months of the season.
Adarabioyo's contract at Craven Cottage is due to expire at the end of the season, and he would then be able to leave the club as a free agent. The 26-year-old has been in negotiations over a new deal with Fulham for the past few months but is yet to reach an agreement as he enters the last six months of his current contract.
That has led to speculation that Adarabioyo could leave Fulham on a transfer transfer this summer. The report states that Spurs are joined by West Ham and AC Milan in showing an interest in signing the centre-back this summer.
