Ahead of Liverpool's Women's Super League (WSL) clash with Arsenal last month, a palpable frisson of excitement could be felt around Prenton Park.
The cause of that excitement? The sight of England manager Sarina Wiegman on Merseyside.
With the Lionesses set to travel to Spain to contest two friendly fixtures in the upcoming international break, the Dutchwoman was likely using her vantage point in the Main Stand to monitor the sizable crop of England regulars who ply their trade for the Gunners.
But, according to Liverpool boss Matt Beard, there is one player in his own ranks that Wiegman should be keeping an eye on. "I think (Grace Fisk) should be in the England set-up," he said after the defender's superb showing against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.

"I think her performances warrant that. She’s played full-back, centre-back and she’s been very versatile for us, but Fisky is just one of those types of people. In training and day to day she just goes about it under the radar. She’s been a great signing for us."
Beard is right to highlight Fisk's 'under the radar' brilliance. Having signed for Liverpool in the summer after a three-year stint at West Ham United, the defender's quality and versatility has played a huge part in the Reds' impressive form this term.
She is one of several shrewd signings made by Beard and his staff over the past two seasons, though the acquisition of more high-profile additions - such as club-record signing Sophie Roman Haug and highly-rated Scotland defender Jenna Clark - has perhaps denied Fisk of the plaudits her form
