A young Liverpool fan lived his dream when he was invited over to Anfield to meet Jurgen Klopp and his heroes.
Dáire (12), from Monaghan, went viral after a video of him from his first trip to Anfield – to see his beloved Liverpool beat Aston Villa 3-0 in September – was posted to social media.
In that video Dáire, who was born with Crommelin Syndrome, a rare condition which impacts less than ten people worldwide, broke down in tears and could barely get the words out during the pre-match rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone.
Jurgen Klopp then invited Dáire and his family over to meet the players.

Dáire describes Liverpool as his “best friend”, telling how “it means absolutely everything”.
"I can’t put it into words, it’s just a complete escape. There’s absolutely nothing I love more,” he said.
Liverpool shared a video, following Dáire’s journey to Anfield earlier this year, to X, formerly Twitter, on Christmas morning.
Speaking ahead of his surprise trip, his mum told how Dáire was born with a condition called Crommelin, telling how it is “very rare”.
"Known to us there’s only maybe seven, eight (people) worldwide. So, he has no arms from about his elbow down and he’s also missing the femur bone in both of his legs, which means obviously he can’t walk, he’s a full-time wheelchair user.
"What he has come through over the last twelve years... and he’s still smiling which is amazing.”
