Arsenal were dumped out of the FA Cup in the third round after a 2-0 loss to Liverpool, with big chances being wasted a huge cause for concern among the Gunners faithful.
Plenty of attackers have been linked with a move to the Emirates in January, including Napoli's Osimhen. The 25-year-old managed 30 goal contributions in 32 Serie A games last season, and after signing a new deal with Napoli, the striker has a release clause of £112million.

To set up this simulation, we used Football Manager 2024 to move Osimhen to Arsenal in the January transfer window before simulating the rest of the 2023/24 season. This is how the Nigerian performed for the north London club.
On arrival, Osimhen was used regularly by Mikel Arteta, with the striker making 20 appearances in his first six months. Osimhen proved a deadly goalscorer for the Gunners, with the Nigerian scoring an impressive 12 goals in his short time at the club.
