With 10 games to go, the Premier League title race is closer than ever, with just one point separating first and third place.
As it stands, Arsenal are top of the Premier League table, with the Gunners ahead of Liverpool in second, only on goal difference. The fantastic goalscoring form of late shown by Mikel Arteta's side has proved extremely important, and it may make all the difference at the end of the season.
Right now, it's too tight to say who will lift the Premier League. Arsenal are set to take on third-place and defending champions Manchester City next, so we could see new league leaders again very soon depending on the game's outcome. The Gunners still have some tough tests ahead after the clash with City as well, including away visits to Tottenham, Manchester United and Brighton and Hove Albion.
So, how could Arsenal perform in the final 10 games of the season? This is what happened...
To set up this simulation, we used the Football Manager 2024 editor to update the game with the latest results, fixtures and standings. We then simulated until the end of the season to see how FM24 judges the Gunners' title hopes
Game one: Manchester City 2-1 Arsenal (31/03/2024)
In probably the biggest game to date in Arsenal's title surge, the Gunners fell to a 2-1 defeat away to Manchester City. Gabriel Jesus equalised in the 57th minute after Erling Haaland opened the scoring 38 minutes in, but Phil Foden grabbed the winner late on to break Arsenal hearts.
