Hugo Ekitiké’s (21) time at Paris Saint-Germain looks to be nearing its end, with West Ham and Crystal Palace keen to sign the out-of-favour striker.
The forward has featured only once for Les Parisiens since Luis Enrique became manager with the sole appearance coming in the first game of the season when PSG drew with FC Lorient.
Despite signing in the summer when his loan deal became permanent, the capital club had looked set on offloading the player in the same window.
PSG had attempted to use Ekitke as a makeweight to secure the signing of Randal Kolo-Muani (25) from Eintracht Frankfurt but the striker refused to sign a deal with the German club preferring a move to the Premier League.
West Ham United and Crystal Palace were among the numerous interested parties from the Premier League keen on signing the striker in the summer, and according to The Standard, they will reignite their interest in January.
Both English clubs consider Ekitiké to be the perfect solution to their current striking issues, with Palace in need of a replacement for the Frankfurt target Jean-Philippe Mateta (26), while West Ham look to rejuvenate an ageing attack.
With The Standard reporting that Les Parisiens are willing to make a deal for the player, either loaning out the striker or selling if necessary, it appears that one of these clubs might yet secure the young forward.
