Cristiano Ronaldo will not feature for Al Nassr in their Saudi Pro League clash against Al-Hazm on Thursday.
The Portuguese star is the club's top goalscorer this season as they battle Al Hilal for the title.
Ronaldo missed a few preseason games through injury, however, that is not the reason for his absence against Al-Hazm.
The Sporting News takes a look at why he is not in the squad and when he will return.

Reports circulated on February 26 suggesting that Ronaldo was facing a two-game ban in the Saudi Pro League for making an 'obscene gesture' towards Al Shabab fans as they taunted him in their league game last weekend.
The suggestion, as per such outlets as Sky News and The Daily Mail, was that Ronaldo could be suspended as part of an investigation by Saudi Arabia's football federation.
On February 29, The Athletic reported that Ronaldo had only been given a one-match suspension, and a fine of 10,000 Saudi riyals ($2,666) payable to the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and a further fine of double that amount payable to Al Shabab. He also has to cover the costs of the complaint process.
Later that day, the PA news agency confirmed the news via a statement, which said: "The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee at the Saudi Arabian Football Federation has issued a one-match ban to Cristiano Ronaldo as well as a 10,000 Saudi Riyal fine to SAFF and 20,000 SAR fine payable to the opposition club Al Shabab FC for 'provoking fans' or 'inciting fans' as per Article 57 of the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee at the Saudi Arabian Football Federation."
