'A wonderful experience' - Jurgen Klopp dismisses Liverpool fears as comparison made

Jurgen Klopp says he is not concerned about his team suffering burnout in the second half of the campaign as the pursuit of success sees Liverpool enter a fourth competition this weekend.

The Reds, who top the Premier League by three points, are already into the last 16 of the Europa League and will face Fulham in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final on Wednesday evening at Anfield.

Before the visit from Marco Silva's side, Liverpool get their FA Cup campaign up and running at the third-round stage away at Arsenal on Sunday and with the injuries piling up and Mohamed Salah and Wataru Endo absent for the next month on international duty for Egypt and Japan, respectively, changes are expected at the Emirates.

Klopp, though, is not fearful that his team will suffer any mental or physical fatigue from their exertions, referring back to two years ago when his side collected 92 Premier League points while winning both domestic cups and picking up Champions League runners-up medals.

"Am I worried? No, not at all," Klopp said. "The season with the three finals and a really intense Premier League season was intense while we were in it, but it was good fun as well to be honest.

"It was good fun; the games the boys played; the two finals against Chelsea were two of the best draws I saw in my life - unbelievably intense, technically at a super high level – so it was a wonderful experience.

"And playing at Wembley is a top experience. I would not change it for anything. It was absolutely great. Obviously a Champions League final is not on the horizon
