Alisson Becker and two others hand Liverpool boost as club sweat over Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold
Alisson Becker and Joe Gomez have handed Liverpool a boost after reporting for training at the AXA Training Centre on Tuesday.
The pair both missed the Reds’ 3-1 victory over Burnley on Saturday because of illness after a flu outbreak in Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
However, in a video posted in the club’s social media channels on Tuesday lunchtime, both Alisson and Gomez were both spotted in full training wear at the AXA Training Centre ahead of Liverpool’s latest training session.
The Brazilian is seen embracing the club’s head of fitness & conditioning, Andreas Kornmayer, in the video and appears to say, “Yeah, I’m good. I’m feeling better.”

Caoimhin Kelleher and Andy Robertson both started in the pair’s absence against the Clarets. But with the Reds next in action away at Brentford on Saturday lunchtime, both Alisson and Gomez have plenty of time to get back up to speed in training ahead of the trip to the capital.
Conor Bradley has also reported back to the AXA Training Centre following compassionate leave after the death of his father, with Klopp confirming last week that the Northern Ireland international could return to training, if he felt ready, in the days ahead.
Elsewhere in the video, Stefan Bajcetic is also seen arriving at the AXA Training Centre, while Mohamed Salah is seen talking to Virgil van Dijk. However, the Egyptian is not in his full training wear as he continues to work in the gym after suffering a hamstring injury at the Africa Cup of Nations last month.
