You don't need to hear the rest. Over a decade later, United supporters are still haunted by how they let that Premier League title slip away, just as Manchester City supporters are happy to relive their finest hour.
They might also be Treble winners now, but that Sergio Aguero goal will forever be the most famous goal in the history of the club, a sign that things really had changed for good in Manchester.
Looking back at that season, a few key moments spring to mind. If United had only lost 2-1 rather than 6-1 to City earlier in the season, they would have won the title on goal difference. There is one other result that is mulled over, though. This is the only time United have ever lost to Wigan Athletic.
It's almost hard to fathom now, but heading into that match, there was an outside chance that United could have won the Premier League title for themselves with four games to spare.
They arrived at the DW Stadium on the back of eight consecutive wins and with an eight-point cushion over their noisy neighbours, having never even dropped a point against Wigan in 14 meetings, conceding just four goals in those matches as well.
