Tottenham will face Manchester City in the Premier League this weekend with Ange Postecoglou still dealing with a number of injury concerns. Rodrigo Bentancur became the latest player to join the treatment room after sustaining an issue in the defeat against Aston Villa.
Meanwhile, City have been handed a double injury boost ahead of their trip to North London as Pep Guardiola revealed in his press conference on Friday. Spurs are set to bolster Postecoglou's squad with new signings in January, but their plans may need to be reworked following news of Lloyd Kelly's injury.

Ange Postecoglou has admitted that he «would have loved» to have seen Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma playing alongside each other in his Tottenham midfield. Unable to do so at the beginning of the season with the Uruguayan working his way back to fitness from a long-term ACL injury, it did appear that both could start in the same Spurs team in the final month of 2023.
However, that is no longer a possibility with Bentancur now set to face another two months out of action after damaging his ankle ligaments in last Sunday's 2-1 defeat against Aston Villa. Bissouma was not available for that game as he served a one-match ban for picking up five yellow cards this season but he is back this weekend to face Man City.
That has come as good news to Postecoglou, who is looking forward to welcoming his midfielder back into the fold.
