Lo Celso tipped to make £15m transfer
Tottenham are willing to listen to offers for Argentina midfielder Giovani Lo Celso when the market reopens and might accept £15million for his signature. That's according to reports from Football Insider with speculation on his future at the Premier League table-toppers gathering pace.
Lo Celso has been a bit-part player for Ange Postecoglou this season. He has played just 69 minutes across three appearances for the club in all competitions.
Originally joining Tottenham for €32million (£27.8million) in 2020 after an initial loan spell, the former PSG and Real Betis player spent last season and the campaign before that with Villarreal on loan. However, the midfielder is now seemingly being earmarked for a permanent move with a January departure mooted by Football Insider.
Lange to make key scouting appointment
Tottenham are poised to make their first key appointment behind the scenes since Johan Lange stepped into his new role as technical director for the Premier League side.
Lange, 43, has now officially stepped into his position after swapping Aston Villa for north London last month. He will be in charge of all recruitment at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Reports from Daily Telegraph correspondent Matt Law via social media indicate Rob Mackenzie has now decided to follow Lange from Villa to Tottenham and will become the club's new chief scout. Mackenzie is already familiar to Lange from their Villa Park days.
