Mauricio Pochettino has been handed a further injury boost ahead of Brentford after seeing five Chelsea stars return in the clash with Arsenal. The October international break was not a good one for the Blues with concern coming to light on Cole Palmer and Mykhailo Mudryk, however both started and scored in the London derby.
Joining them in the matchday squad was Reece James, Malo Gusto, Benoit Badiashile, Axel Disasi and Nicolas Jackson amid injury concerns and a suspension for Gusto. Pochettino is sure to want the full compliment of his squad for the coming weeks as Chelsea face an extremely tough Premier League fixture run-in.
Wesley Fofana, Ben Chilwell and Christopher Nkunku remain as the long-term absentees, although a positive update has emerged on the latter. Meanwhile, one Chelsea star has been pictured back in full training after missing the game against Arsenal which will come as a huge boost to Pochettino.
