Danny Murphy will have delighted Aston Villa fans by naming one of their stars in his Premier League team of the season so far.
With the campaign just past the halfway point, opinions are already been drafted on which players have been the best thus far.
Selections are always debatable but many prove to be consistent picks are they continue to stand out for their respective clubs.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher attracted criticism for his team selection, which featured no players from Villa, with his co-pundit Gary Neville also omitting them, even though they sit second in the Premier League.

«I think [Virgil] van Dijk has got back to his best and that's why I've put him in, he's a huge reason why Liverpool are sat at the top of the table. [William] Saliba has gone up again, he's going to be a superstar that kid, he's so cool and calm, quick, good on the ball.
»I've just got to give [Ezri] Konsa a mention actually at centre-back, I think for Villa he's been outstanding. His game has really gone up, he's really become comfortable and productive on the ball as well, added that to his game.
«I'm going Trent [Alexander-Arnold], just because I think he's impacted games more than any other full-back which is very hard to do. I know he goes into the midfield position, he has impacted games positively more
