The Tennessee Titans' newly-employed coach Brian Callahan used Jurgen Klopp's words to present his philosophy towards his new role.
In his introductory press conference on Thursday, Callahan took to the podium and admitted how he hopes to practice the Liverpool manager's ideologies after directly quoting him.
'This is a quote from Jurgen Klopp,' Callahan said. 'I didn't wanna just rip it off and present it as my own but he had said it at one point, he's a soccer coach at Liverpool.
'He said: "When you agree on a common idea and work towards it together, then you can create something very special." That's what I believe in, that's what we'll do here.'
Callahan went on to reiterate how 'there is no ability to have success without those principles.'
Callahan's admiration for his European counterpart comes as no surprise as Klopp is one of the most respected soccer managers in the game.
Klopp memorably turned the fate of German club Borussia Dortmund, who struggled before his arrival in 2008. Two years after taking charge of the 13th-placed team, Klopp led Dortmund to two straight Bundesliga titles and three German Cups.
In 2015, Klopp left Germany to manage Liverpool in the Premier League.
He has since won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, Premier League, League Cup and FA Cup. Klopp is the only Liverpool manager to win six different major trophies.
On the other hand, Callahan enters his first head coaching role after serving as a graduate assistant for UCLA and working for several NFL teams.
Callahan was a coaching assistant for the Denver Broncos, where he won a Super Bowl in 2016.
