Julian Nagelsmann has provided an update on his future as Germany head coach.
Nagelsmann has been briefly linked with replacing Jurgen Klopp in the dugout at Anfield. The links come after the 56-year-old announced last month that he would be stepping down at the end of the season.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager revealed that he had informed the Reds of his plan to leave back in November, leaving the Anfield hierarchy plenty of time to find the ideal replacement. Xabi Alonso has emerged as an early favourite for the to-be vacant position, while Roberto De Zerbi and Ruben Amorim have also been mooted.

Doubt has been cast over Nagelsmann's future in the Germany hot seat post this summer's Euros. While the 36-year-old enjoyed lots of success at Bayern Munich, he has struggled to truly showcase his philosophy on the world stage, winning just one of the four games he has taken charge of since his appointment in September.
And asked by Sky Sports if he'd still be Germany head coach at the start of the Nations League in September, Nagelsmann replied: "I haven't thought about it yet.
"Since my contract ends after the Euros, I would say, 'as it stands now, no.' I've said it since the beginning of my tenure.
"The Euros is currently the focus. Then we'll see if I'm still the coach. If so, we'll prepare very well and try to get the most out of it and win the group. We want to play a good Euros. Then we'll see what happens next."
