Bayern Munich have shown an interest in bringing Nordi Mukiele (26) back to the Bundesliga, according to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins.
Mukiele joined Paris Saint-Germain from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2022, however, the Frenchman finds himself behind the undisplaceable Achraf Hakimi at right-back. As a result, Mukiele has found game time difficult to come by, whilst injuries haven’t helped his efforts to stake his case for a starting spot either.
The France international has featured just nine times in all competitions this season, accumulating under 400 minutes of football. As a result, PSG are not against Mukiele leaving the club this January. Bayern Munich are interested in a move, as are Juventus, who have enquired about the player’s availability.
However, Mukiele will only be allowed to leave the Parc des Princes should a replacement be found. As reported by Hawkins, Les Parisiens are prioritising signing a central defender this January following Milan Skriniar’s injury. The former Inter Milan centre-back is set to undergo surgery on an ankle injury and could miss the end of the season.
