According to L’Équipe, Bayern Munich have submitted an offer to sign Nordi Mukiele (26) on loan from PSG this January. The offer submitted by the Bundesliga champions includes an option to buy worth €25m. Bayern want to recruit a versatile defensive option in the winter widow.
The Bundesliga club have been monitoring Mukiele for several weeks and in recent days have contacted Les Parisiens over the availability of the former RB Leipzig defender. Bayern Munich are not the only club interested in signing Mukiele in January with Juventus also showing interest, according to Fabrice Hakwins. However, it appears the Serie A club are focusing on the pursuit of fellow Ligue 1 defender Tiago Djalo from Lille.
Paris Saint-Germain are not closed to the possibility of the former Montpellier defender leaving the Parc des Princes this winter, according to L’Équipe. The Ligue 1 champions are somewhat suffering an injury crisis in defence with Milan Škriniar the latest name to a growing list of lengthy injuries. Mukiele’s versatility is appreciated by PSG but if his departure can be counteracted with a centre-back on loan then a departure could be considered.
