Ore Oduba said he has been completely overwhelmed by the amazing response he has received from Scousers during his time in the city.
The former Strictly Come Dancing winner has arrived in Liverpool to perform as Happy Man/Mr Thompson in the stage production of Pretty Woman: The Musical. The show is on at the Liverpool Empire theatre until Saturday, February 3 and Ore has loved being able to spend an extended time on Merseyside.
He told the ECHO: "I've come to Liverpool so many times and I absolutely love it here, but I've not been here for a fortnight before. I just love the feeling of stepping out of Lime Street station and immediately getting the atmosphere of the town, which is just an absolute vibe."

The theatre adaptation of the iconic film arrived at the Empire on January 23 and Ore said he has been taken aback by the support the show has received in the city. He said: "I would never have thought that we'd have sold out the Empire for two weeks running. We're just totally blown away.
"Two weeks is a long run for any touring musical as you can never guarantee that people are going to come out. People have just spent all the money on Christmas a couple of weeks ago and there might have been a bit of a lull before people start coming back to the theatre."
Ore praised the infectious atmosphere a Liverpool crowd generates and said they have the ability to "take the roof off". He said: "You get that buzz when you're there half an hour before a show and they turn up the mic and you can hear the audience building."
