Ben Doak says he needs to "rise up" to the challenge and continue competing for his place in Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side.
The Scotland under-21 international has been one of the standout youngsters since arriving on Merseyside. He firmly grasped his chance during pre-season with the Reds and put in a notable display against SV Darmstadt in the final pre-season friendly.
There was a growing clamour for Doak to feature more prominently in Klopp's side and he got his chance in the Premier League against Chelsea, as a late substitute for Mohamed Salah.
The German granted him an opportunity as a starter in their Europa League opener with LASK and Leicester City for his full Anfield bow.

During his encounter in the Carabao Cup against the Foxes, he had an appeal for a penalty waved away before smashing the crossbar from six yards out.
Doak would receive a standing ovation when he was brought off during their 3-1 comeback win over Enzo Maresca's side.
And the 17-year-old has set out his own demands as he continues to train with the first team in a bid to nudge his way up the pecking order.
"Now I'm training with them every day (Liverpool first team)," he said. "I'm trying to learn off them all, some of them are the best in the world."
"My grandad was at the Anfield game. I really enjoyed it, the crowd was electric. I missed a sitter though, I need to start scoring," he joked in an interview with the official Scotland X account.
"It's a challenge I need to rise up (to), I just need to learn off them (Liverpool team) that's how I will get there."
