Glentoran's Bobby Burns celebrates his late goal at Seaview
Glentoran bounced back from their County Antrim Shield final defeat in midweek to sink Crusaders 2-1 in the Premiership at Seaview.
The Glens, who lost to Larne in the Shield decider, grabbed a late winner through Bobby Burns.
Stephen Baxter's side thought they had earned a point when Stewart Nixon scored his first goal for the club in the second half but red hot Burns secured the points with an exquisite finish.
David Fisher looked in the mood and his sublime volley in the 10th minute blasted the Glens in front.
Aidan Wilson aimed a long throw in into the box and the striker shrugged off Jordan Forsythe to power the ball past Jonny Tuffey.
Jordan Owens directed a header narrowly wide in the second half and the home side were fuming when referee Tim Marshall blew for a free kick for a challenge on Nixon just as he crossed the ball into the centre and Ben Kennedy found the net with a header.
But the Crues did get their equaliser in the 81st minute when Nixon rifled in a low volley from Forsythe's cross.
Just when a draw looked likely Jay Donnelly picked out Burns who cleverly lifted the ball over Tuffey to score the winner in the 90th minute.
While the Crues rued that disallowed goal, Glentoran toasted a big win.
