Boots slashes 50% off Yankee Candle spring gift set ahead Mother's Day

Boots has reduced a Yankee Candle gift set packed with spring scents just in time for Mother's Day.

The special day is round the corner on Sunday March 10, and many retailers are offering reduced gift sets online and in-store on the lead up including this one. Originally priced at £65, the Yankee Candle Spring Gift Set Exclusive will now cost £32.50 as part of the new deal.

It features one original medium jar candle in the scent 'Cherry Blossom' and two original small jar candles in the scents 'A Calm & Quiet Place' and 'Clean Cotton'. Also included in the set is one three pack of filled votives in the scent 'Coconut Beach'.

Other spring scents including in the gift set are 'Tranquil Garden' and 'Cucumber Mint Cooler' both scents are in two original votive candles. For wax melt fans, the set also includes two in the scents 'Wedding Day' and 'Seaside Woods'.

According to the Boots website, instructions to use the set are as follows:

1. Trim your wick to 3mm before each burn.

2. Always use a Votive Candle with a suitable Votive Holder.

3.. Let the top layer of wax liquefy and pool to the edges to avoid tunnelling.

4. Keep the candle within sight and away from drafts.

5. Always place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface, and make sure to keep the candles away from children, pets, flammable materials and other heat sources.

6. Never move or handle the candle while it's burning or while the wax is hot.
