Burnley and Luton will meet this Friday evening in a crucial clash at the bottom of the Premier League table, live on talkSPORT.
The Hatters are travelling to Turf Moor aiming to move out of the relegation zone and further clear of their relegation rivals.
Rob Edward’s side have won two of their last three league games and that has seen them majorly boost their survival chances this season.
They’ll now be aiming to claim another three points against the Clarets who have lost all but one game at home so far in the top flight.
Alfie Doughty has become a key player for Luton this season, stepping up in the Premier League and coping well with the increase in quality.
The wing-back is a constant threat on the left and he has recently shown his talents from set pieces.
Doughty has created a total of 22 chances from set plays this campaign, providing four assists.
That’s a record only bettered by James Ward-Prowse who is of course known for his set-piece prowess.
The 24-year-old is now attracting attention for his impressive performances in recent weeks, especially after starring in a 3-2 defeat to Chelsea in December.
If he can continue his fine form on Friday evening, he is likely to help his side move further away from their relegation rivals.
Both Charlie Taylor and Lyle Foster were withdrawn with injury concerns during Burnley’s defeat to Tottenham in the FA Cup.
Taylor is said to have a ‘chronic’ shoulder issue while Foster is not thought to have sustained a serious problem and is likely to be fit.
Sander Berge is back from suspension, however, Luca Koleosho, Hjalmar Ekdal and Jordan Beyer all remain on the sidelines.
As for Luton, Issa Kabore is away at the Africa Cup of Nations for the next few weeks.
