Mauricio Pochettino will be desperate to finally secure his first win as Chelsea manager in the Premier League on Friday night. The Blues will welcome Luton Town to Stamford Bridge this evening in what is set to be a crucial fixture in the early stages of the 51-year-old's tenure.

Despite impressive performances against Liverpool and West Ham, the west Londoners failed to get their hands on three points. However, Pochettino is confident that Chelsea will quickly reap the rewards of their hard work on the training pitches at Cobham.

»If we expect today the best thing of [Moises] Caicedo, [Romeo] Lavia, [Axel] Disasi, [Robert] Sanchez, all the players who arrive in the last moments with few days to adapt and compete. If we see the projection of these players, we expect the best from them, we should win every single game.

«At the moment, the form of them, we need to provide the tools to improve every day. The way we are playing and the platform of the team gives us the opinion we are in a good way.

»It is only a matter of time until we put it altogether. When the transfer window is closed, I think it is going to be easier to put altogether. I have no doubt about the quality of the squad."
