Double Lyon boost
Chelsea have been given a major boost to their hopes of signing Rayan Cherki and Bradley Barcola this summer. The Olympique Lyonnais duo have been heavily linked with moves to Stamford Bridge as Mauricio Pochettino looks to further bolster his frontline.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Ernest Nuamah has completed his medical ahead of a loan, with an obligation to buy, to the French outfit. The report states that Lyon will pay Danish Superliga side Nordsjælland €25million, plus €5million in add-ons for the 19-year-old forward.
Nuamah, who will reportedly sign a five-year deal at the Groupama Stadium, has already scored four goals in four games this season as a right-winger. Interestingly, both Cherki and Barcola have often featured on the right flank for Lyon in recent times.
While the Ghana international may have just been brought in by Lyon to deputise the duo, his arrival certainly gives Chelsea fresh hope of securing their signatures.

The 22-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge recently as Mauricio Pochettino looks to further bolster his frontline before the summer transfer window slams shut at the end of the month.
