Nike has received mixed reviews from Chelsea supporters about next season's away shirt, which has reportedly been leaked. The West London outfit has showcased various coloured jerseys over the years, with some proving to be more popular than others.
Over the last five years, Chelsea have donned four different coloured away shirts; 'pitch blue and soar shades' this season; white last term; yellow in 2021/22; light blue in 2020/21; white, with a collar, in 2019/20. Not to mention the wide variety of bold third strips, goalkeeper tops, training and matchday gear, the club haven't been afraid to experiment with their colour palette.
There's been some quite outrageous shirts on show at Stamford Bridge – one of which being the 1994/95 away jersey, as famously worn by Ruud Gullit. In fact, next season's leaked away shirt is loosely inspired by the aforementioned strip and the 2022/23 third kit.
According to Footy Headlines, who have become notorious for leaking jerseys over the years, Chelsea will bring orange back to west London. The 2024/25 away shirt is mainly light beige, 'Guava Ice', combined with orange, 'Team Orange', and blue, 'Rush Blue'.
The shorts are said to match the top, with contrasting royal blue socks. Until next season's strips are officially unveiled, it remains to be seen whether or not the leak is true. In the meantime though, the shirt has divided opinion among Chelsea fans with some claiming to love it and others not, with a potential Nike template worry on the horizon.
