Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy has shared messages he exchanged with Roy Hodgson after the Crystal Palace boss was rushed to hospital earlier this week.
Hodgson, who is the oldest manager in the Premier League at 76, fell ill on Thursday and was quickly taken to hospital where he is now stable.

Murphy, who was Hodgson's captain at Fulham and helped them reach the Europa League final in 2010, has stayed in touch with the one-time manager of the Reds and sent him messages after hearing about his illness.
