After helping Liverpool to a 2-0 win over neighbours Everton, Dominik Szoboszlai raved about the Anfield atmosphere for the Merseyside derby - something he had questioned Trent Alexander-Arnold about in advance.
Liverpool were triumphant on derby day, their third by this scoreline against their cross-city rivals at home for the third season running. Mohamed Salah struck both late on with the visitors reduced to 10 men due to Ashley Young's red card.
It was a result helped to temporarily elevate the Reds to top of the table, and also one Szoboszlai - who played the full match - was proud to be a part of.

"It feels really good. As I said before, playing at Anfield is something special. I didn’t expect that, but yes it feels nice. I expected it was going to be good, but I didn’t realise it would be this loud. I have played in a lot of stadiums, but this is one of the best.
"We were in a good position when they went to 10 men because at times this season, we have played with 10 or nine men. I know how it feels to play with 10 men so I know how they feel. You have to be focused until the end - we take the three points and move onto the next game."
Turning to one team-mate in particular for advice heading into the fixture, the Hungarian revealed discussions with Liverpool's vice-captain Alexander-Arnold helped settle him into the occasion.
