Mikel Arteta's side have certainly found their shooting boots in 2024 and have gone from a position of weakness in the Premier League title race, to one of strength. They now have the best goal difference between themselves, Liverpool and Manchester City, which could be crucial when it comes to the crunch.

Arsenal lead the way at the top of the table on goal difference from Liverpool and one point clear of City. They take on City at the Etihad Stadium this Sunday in a crucial showdown that could go some way to determining who wins the crown this season.

Whether the Gunners go on to claim the title or not will not change their approach in the summer transfer window. A new striker remains high on the list of priorities, with Gabriel Jesus suffering injures and not hitting the back of the net with regularity, while question marks remain over Eddie Nketiah's role in the team and future, as well as Kai Havertz's position on the pitch under Arteta.

Viktor Gyokeres has been the name most heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium in recent weeks, although there have also been links with Victor Osimhen and Santiago Gimenez.
