GPO in Metquarter has welcomed two new traders, Twisted and Hot Chick.
The large food market, which is based on the upper level at Metquarter, is now home to nine indepdent traders. The site sits behind the Metquarter’s beautiful historic 19th century façade next to the Everyman Cinema, with open air seating facing onto Victoria Street.
GPO has partnered with The Lean Kitchen Network (LKN) to bring its brands to Liverpool. Twisted offers "tantalizing and delicious smashed patty burgers, crunchy chicken wings, and tenders".
Hot Chick, which recently won both the Judges' award and the People's Choice award at Wing Fest 2023, will offer chicken wings, burgers, boneless chicken bites and tenders all coated in signature sauces such as honey buffalo, Korean gochujang, chipotle BBQ, and its award-winning Hot Naga sauce.

Faraz Nagree, founder and CEO of LKN said: "As we continue to expand our brands across the country, we are especially excited to showcase two of our most in-demand and fastest growing concepts at this fantastic food hall in Liverpool.
“Now the people of Liverpool can come and get our Twisted smashed patty burgers and Hot Chick's award-winning fried chicken at GPO, and soon they will be able to order from either brand direct to their door via Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat.”
