A former African star showed the rewards of being among the footballing icons, hopping out of a R2.7 million in a luxury-filled outing.
Emmanuel Adebayor retired from professional football in March last year and the player now seems to be enjoying the fruits of his labour as he embarks on a getaway to "recharge and explore".

The former Arsenal star was renowned for his ability to score goals as a striker, and seems to still be scoring well after his retirement.
The 39-year-old is in Dubai as he collaborates with technological company Blockchain Sports, "pushing the boundaries of tech for youth empowerment worldwide."
He was spotted getting out of a new, sleek and lavish BMW i7 that is described by the German automobile company to have a "lounge atmosphere in the interior," emphasising the opulent nature of the car.
It also offers the commuters a whole cinema experience with 31.3 inches theatre screen in the rear passenger compartment. Aside from the lavishness that comes with it, its performance isn't at all too shabby. The i7 is capable of going rom 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 second.
However, for all of that performance coupled with its grandeur, the i7 will cost around R2.6 million according to AutoTrader.
Adebayor's trip, meanwhile, seemed to have been one with a bit of leisure as well. He was pictured in front of the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa and seemingly went jewelry shopping to add some new bling to his collection.
He also met up with an icon from a whole other continent, former Brazilian footballer Romario who represented Barcelona during the 1990s and won the 1994 FIFA World Cup.
