Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah admits the squad are powerless to stop in-demand manager Xabi Alonso leaving at the end of the season.
But the centre-back insists he not seen a drop in focus from his manager amid interest from both Liverpool and Bayern Munich, who will both be on the hunt for new managers for next season.
Alonso has emerged as one of the brightest young tacticians in Europe during his time with Leverkusen and currently has the Bundesliga leaders 10 points clear of Bayern having gone unbeaten all season so far.
As a result, the former Reds midfielder has been linked with succeeding Jurgen Klopp at Anfield while Bundesliga champions Bayern are reportedly keen to recruit him when Thomas Tuchel steps aside at the end of the campaign.

Tah accepts the team are unable to influence what their head coach does next, but believes Alonso is totally focused as Leverkusen hone in on a first-ever Bundesliga crown and a potential Europa League, where they meet West Ham United in the quarter-finals.
"I don’t have the feeling at all that he is busy with other things – other than us and Leverkusen," Tah told Sky Germany. "He is 100% committed. You just feel that he is there and is focused on it, everything about him.
"No player can influence what happens in the summer. In the end he will probably decide for himself and so will that club. All I can say is that you don’t have the feeling at all that he is somewhere else in his head."
