The top of the table clash between Liverpool and Arsenal has divided opinion among pundits ahead of their meeting at Anfield on Saturday.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are a point behind the league-leading Gunners and could be back in top spot with a win. There was a sense of disappointment surrounding the club’s recent draw with Manchester United but Liverpool responded with an emphatic 5-1 victory over West Ham on Wednesday to cruise through to the Carabao Cup semi-finals.
Arsenal will be full of confidence after reclaiming first place last weekend. However, manager Mikel Arteta will be keenly aware that it was a draw at Anfield last season that sparked a spiral in form - winning just three of their final nine games - and ultimately cost Arsenal the Premier League title.
