A new desert cafe has opened in Liverpool - offering up tasty Japanese soufflé pancakes.
The self proclaimed "global sensation" Fluffy Fluffy first launched in Toronto, Canada in 2018. After winning over people with a sweet tooth, the brand went on to open 18 more sites overseas, becoming North America’s largest soufflé pancake and dessert.
In October 2022, the café concept expanded across the Atlantic to open the first flagship store in the UK, in Manchester. Now customers can get their hands on the tiramisu , matcha, Biscoff and Oreo flavoured pancakes on Berry Street, in Liverpool city centre.

The Liverpool café features Fluffy Fluffy's signature open-kitchen concept, which offers a view of how the soufflé pancakes are made. Each pancake is hand-made to order - beginning with egg whites whipped to soft peaks which is then slowly cooked at low temperature to achieve the signature round cloud-like pancakes.
These stacks are then topped with a selection of fruits, creams, syrups and house sauces. Hussein Umar, development lead at Fluffy Fluffy UK, said: "We're beyond thrilled to introduce the magic Fluffy Fluffy to the Liverpudlians. Our Japanese soufflé pancakes are not just a treat they're a journey into culinary perfection."
Fluffy Fluffy has other cafes in Manchester, Leicester, Reading and Leeds. More locations in Egham and Bristol have also been announced for 2024. Find more information here.
